Practice areas
Since 1994 my focus has been legal advice and legal drafting. It has not stopped there — what I promise applies to every area of law.
The five areas on this page describe what I deal with most often — they are not an exhaustive list. Everyday legal questions belong here just as much: a contract, a dismissal, a dispute between neighbours.
Everything begins with a conversation. In it we establish what the matter is, which deadlines are running and what a sensible course of action looks like. A lawyer–client relationship arises only once I expressly accept instructions.
For that first conversation, anything in writing helps: contracts, letters from the other side, official notices, payment reminders. If a letter carries a date or a deadline, please mention it straight away — some deadlines are short.
